front accesory belt - 12/05/18 06:29 PM

for the front accessory belt what has everyone done with no AC or Power Steering. I think I have read there are Idler pullies available but are they really needed, can you just run belt on alternator, water pump and crank with one tensioner.

If so what belt and can you show picture of front of motor

by the way this is a 2004 5.7 out of a Durango with alt on top passenger side

Dorman Part Number: 18253-09209199 , is the A/C bypass pulley for the 7 rib truck style front cover, for the car cover there is a routing option I don't have it in front of me here, try hitting LX forum I know I've seen a diagram somewhere for both the truck and the car cover, just can't remember where.

I did a 2004 truck 5.7 into a Hot Rod. I used the Mopar AC delete bracket 530321AA. I removed the PS pump. I used Gates belt K70776. You reposition an idler pulley. This is all shown on the Mopar instructions. I don't know how to attach that instruction sheet to this post.

I screwed up the part Number copy and paste from Auto Zone some how,
Google Dorman 34299

https://www.carid.com/dorman/a-c-compres...goaAhrMEALw_wcB

It doesn't list the Durango as an application , only the Rams. 03-08
