That thing is so dope!
I wanted to buy the new Durango SRT to drive the family around & towing duties but it comes with a PRNDL only which blows. I would rather build my own SUV and put a 6.4/T56 Magnum combo in it as well. Anyone know if Dodge made a pre-74 SUV? One way to get around the smog laws

A 1975 Cherokee Wide Trac would be perfect. They're almost, kind of a Mopar. Or a '74-75 narrow Cherokee. A 4 door Wagoneer too.

This is my 1975 Cherokee. Cali smog exempt if I ever wanted to move there. Turbo gen3 hemi daily driver (except in the snow months).

Wow that Cherokee looks so cool and my kind of style!
Would be awesome to haul the family, 'Cuda, tires & tools around in that.
Thanks for heads up!

Unfortunately, a Cherokee/Wagoneer may be a little small for that task, they're the same size as your 'Cuda.

Thanks! It's a whole different truck, the red one that got smashed was an '83 Laredo.

I don't have a picture of them right off hand, they're really close to the upper A arm on the passenger side though. I had to run tubular uppers.

Re: 392 Dakota - 01/24/18 01:14 AM

The engine compartment isn't done yet so it's fairly ugly but it's drive-able. It's on a shortened '71 C10 frame with No Limit front suspension and my design coilover rear. Challenger 5.7 hemi and tr6060 stock aside from a single Bullseye s366 turbo. 9" full floater rear with 4.56s. 17x11s on all 4 with 275/40s. It's built to be an all around vehicle that I can haul stuff with, road trip, autocross, drag race, camp in, whatever.

That is so sweet!! And the fact that it is completely different and outside the box makes it even more bada$$!

Re: 392 Dakota - 01/24/18 11:18 AM

Cool , I like the pattern in the stripe , is that the Cherokee theme.
Posted By: ghinmi

Re: 392 Dakota - 01/28/18 03:42 AM

Thanks! The stripe is the 1977-1978 Cherokee S graphic. Not correct for the year but I liked the pattern better than the 1975-1976 one.
