Assembled my 5.7L Hemi today!

I have a few things left to button up before it'd call it done, but I am to a point where I can get some paint on it.

What is the strap on the engine stand for, is the floor on a slope?

We try to hurry.

The strap is to keep the stand from rotating when yielding the main and head bolts.

I don't have a car at the moment, so just about as soon as it returns from paint. Novemberish has been proposed as an ETA.

What EFI are you going with?

The plan is to use the MS3 Gold box unless something better comes along.

Intake shaving is wrapped up.

Did the PS bracket work OK?

Ordering the pump here soon and will find out.

What application is that front cover?

Any pics by chance with the alternator mocked up?

Typical car application, I believe.

The alternator is on the picture above, are you needing to see it in the car?

Where do heater hoses connect on that front cover...or do they??

They connect at the back of the engine. Tubes run from the timing cover, under the intake. [the ones with blue tape]

What year engine/heads are you using? Cam? It's going to look good in the 'Cuda!

It's a plain pre-Eagle 5.7L and a custom Comp cam. I spent my go-fast money on the T56 Magnum and will likely add some light boost to the 5.7 after the bugs are worked out of the car. I opened up the ring gaps a bit to help that happen.
