Tremec’s new TKX 5-speed has already made a name for itself as being an outright upgrade over its predecessor, the TKO. However, few suppliers have taken the time to sit down and go through the actual differences until American Powertrain (AP) recently picked both apart in the quintessential side-by-side comparison.

In another post, a member stated “still a possibility of bad driveline angle if the trans can't go up high enough.” when it comes to a Mopar installation. If there any truth to this? Is there an angle issue with the Tremec or a driveshaft angle issue? Thanks!

American Powertrain is literally the primary sponsor of our autocross '72 Dodge Dart Swinger race car, and we've never had a problem with driveline angle. In fact, we've published articles on this very topic, and the tail cone is spot on.
