Hey Steve!

Willow Springs is fun to drive down to as always!
Unfortunately not going to be able to make it this year as the Mrs. & are welcoming our newborn son haha!
Tell the guys hello for me & to keep it on the track!

awsome. With all that talk on the engines section about the fastest streetcar, you are closer to the top of that list to me. The street racing I have done requires going around bends, changing lanes, and up and down hills. up drive Love it!

Nice video and car. I like how you are using stock based but upgraded suspension and not the boutique fad stuff.

Thank you! I try to balance all of our builds into a fun, fast & reliable package!

Thank you! The fastest Mopars that run around Big Willow in SoCal all use beefed up stock suspensions. Chrysler engineers really built these cars to take heavy loads & none of the aftermarket trick suspensions do that. That's also the reason why the 68 Charger in Bullit ran so well while the mustang kept breaking

Thanks for posting the video.
I too appreciate the use of factory based suspensions. The 315 mm tires look great on the car.

Thanks! Yeah factory suspension is truly heavy duty. I need to go back to Thunderhill one of these days!

I really like the build, but the video spends most of the time zoomed in way too far with a real shallow depth of field. Makes it hard to actually see the entire thing. Badass car though!

I was using my 100mm macro lens too much! I'll use my 28-70mm more on the wider side on the next video haha!
Thanks!

With the car being all black, it sort of hides the short sidewall height of the tires. For you, it all blends together and looks good.
I have a 295-45-18 on the back of my Charger and have never really liked the taller sidewall. I have a pair of 295-35-18 Nitto NT05s that I bought 2 years ago. Drag race guys seem to like the look of a tire stuffed in the wheelwell but I wanted something a little shorter. The 35 series seems really short. I looked at 295-40-18 but those are $404 EACH !
