A body steering

I have a 69 swinger, and a rebuilt newer steering box. If I use the 73 up pitman, idler, and centerlink can I use this box? Any benefits from using the newer steering linkage, or will it even fit? I dont really want to get another K, and would like to use up the box on the shelf.

yes that will work with a larger sector P/S box. I ran that setup on my 68 Barracuda for years.

But I had factory HiPo exhaust manifolds. If you have certain headers and you motor is on the edge of stock position, it may be an issue. Just depends on how much and where you have room.

I have TTI 3/4" stepped headers with that setup and no issues.

Just curious, what ratio? I've got a 16:1 box on mine, 73-up pittman/idler/drag link, and no clearance issues with a 3ghemi and TTI headers.

Like has been said, it will fit but there might be a bump-steer issue if you don't also use the '73-up steering arms/ball joints. The late center link is wider where the inner tie rod ends attach. If you've already done the late disc brake swap all the better.
