Picturetrail posting directions - 04/02/03 09:01 PM

I just sent an email on how to upload and post your pics from http://www.picturetrail.com/ so I thought I would post the directions here in case anybody else would like them.

Log in to picturetrail and on the left column you'll see upload pics, click that. Now you'll see 5 browse buttons, click one and you can browse your computer for the pics you want to upload. Click the name of your pic and click open. When you have what you want in the browse buttons scroll down and click the upload pics now button. Give it a minute to upload then you'll see the pics, click the move photo into your album button. The next screen you can title your pic if you want or just leave it blank, then click the move this photo to album button. When you've moved all the pics, click on the main page button on the left. Now click the view button below the album. Now click on whatever picture you want and it will enlarge the pic on the screen.
Right click the pic and click properties, highlight everything right of the Address (url) then right click and copy it. Now just paste the address like this in your posting. I put a space between [img] and the address so you could see what it looks like here.

Russ, can you help me resize. The pic is now HUGE since I switched. The dial ups will hate me if I leave it this way.
old pic = 400 x 255 new pic = 564 x 360!

Here's a good small program that will let you resize any pic plus sharpen, change color, etc. Easy to use too.

I don't know. I threw it in there like usual and it came up that size again. I will delete and reload it into picturetrail tonite and see if that fixes it.

DOH!!! This pic does the same thing. Must have something to do with the new photo host.
