It was restored once before by me. Had a 340. Was a 318 car before. 2 tag A/T GC car. The body work had some hack work done and wasn't really very good.

This pic of it in the early ninties.

Chasing bodylines seems like eternity. Its getting close now. Just a few small areas that aren't perfect.

Some would think this it acceptable. I want flawless!!

Re: Finished putting together my Hemi - 10/23/11 05:21 PM

I should be getting it painted by the first week of November.

Here it is getting it's final blocking. The yellow is primer. Worked really well over the grey 1st block to find any hidden high/low's.

Prunedale Auto Body near Salinas is doing the work. His crew does exceptionally great work.

I would highly recommend them to anyone if they are in the market for getting their car painted.

OK, the blue is nice but it looked SOOOO Bitchin' in Black!

It reminded me of the Phantasm 'Cuda's.

I did black before. Everybody nit picks on how perfect the body is and its hard to keep looking clean. It acts like a big heat sink soaking heat in on a hot day.

The car is very straight and I could've done black again. I really like this Blue.

cool....I cant wait to see it complete. I had a 68 GTX in QQ5 and I loved it. I know its not the same color as your Cuda but close and I get the idea.
