Re: 71 Super Bee Survivor - 03/03/10 12:24 AM
how about some interior shots? I'm comtemplating changing my 71 RR bench/4spd to the shorter bucket 4spd.
Currently, its all missing, but the original hump and the bench has been replaced with buckets.
Thanks
Chris

no problem...
I love the Bee. I personally like the 71/72 B-bodies. Would love to find a 71-340 RR equiped like yours.

Simply Amazing condition! I assume that is the orig. paint? You will have to put up more shots when you break it out of hibernation.

The only items that are not original are the exhaust (replaced 6 years ago), ignition (electronic when I got the car but have the dual point), tires (originals til 3 years ago), and carb (has a 72 TQ I think).
The car is original paint/interior with the exception of the above items.
I've replaced the clutch, put in a 2.76 for road trips and hardened exhaust seats about 11 years ago. It regularly gets 20-21mpg on the 55mph back roads.

Looks great! Almost a twin to my 383 auto, black stripes and black vinyl roof. Definately not near as clean as yours. Can't wait for more pictures.

Tom as you know your Bee is one of my all time favorite 71's! I have a great shot of your hood, but not on this computer. Here's one I took at the fall cruise a couple of years ago.

To one bee owner to another: "Sweet 71 Bee". Black is a very cool color but I'd hate trying to keep it clean. It's a color that you rarely see on a 71 Superbee. I'd like to see more picture please!!
