Ok, we purchased this one owner, original paint 1985 Dodge D-100 in Dec of 2015 in California. Super clean, /6 engine, auto tranny and 8 1/4 rear end. White on blue color combo. We had it shipped to Nova Scotia in May of 2016 and plan to do an update/resto on it over the next while.

So here's the plan......

Drivetrain: Leave it a /6 (127,000 original miles), add a 2bbl intake and carb, header, aluminum valve cover, after market breather and some other goodies under the hood. Also plan to clean it up under the hood & add dual exhaust. Also plan to convert it from an auto to a stick.....

Body: Hope to Clay Bar out the original paint (tail gate w/require a repaint) and buff out as much as possible. Have trim to add to the tail gate, new tail lights, tonneau cover, rear window graphic, new door handles...going to swap out the rear step bumper for a NON-Step from a RamCharger, add body side moldings, replace the 1985 grille surround/and grille & head lights for a 1986 and up look which will include replacing the radiator support. Also have a one way rear window graphic.....

Interior.... now a blue seat, door panels and sun visors, all will be replaced or dyed black! Will also tint side windows...

Suspension... plans are to lower the truck. We have new van control arms and plan on a rear axle flip to drop the truck 3" in the front and 3 1/2" in the rear.

Wheels... looking to use Torque Thrust wheels, 15" X 8", black inside and polished outside w/white letter tires.

Tnx for following.....

Bryan.

sweet truck! I wouldn't think you would need to change the rad support for the newer grill though...

Nice truck reminds me of the 85 I had with a slant 6, was pretty quick for what it was, but at one point it got to where the thing wouldn't go faster than 60MPh then 50, when it got to 40 I found the catalytic convertor was plugged so bad no exhaust was coming out of the tailpipe, so I removed it knocked the inside out then welded it back on and it ran better than it ever did. I would have kept it but i had a herniated disk in my back and the bench seat wasn't helping it.
