1990 Dodge Dakota Sport Convertible

I picked this up not long ago. Finally just got it back on the road. it is one of 909 built in 1990. Just rolled over 95k miles. Here's a picture as it appeared on Craigslist. It was only 14 miles from my house. It had 20s on it in this picture.

I talked the owner down on his price to a reasonable level. I still feel I paid more than I should have but, these trucks are not easy to find. Part of my negotiation was for him to keep the 20s. They rubbed the wheel wells. He had a set of Outlaw II wheels with some off brand 215/75/15s that are like new. The truck also has a new top as well. Here the truck is with those wheels.

Here is a front shot. As you can see here the prep on painting the front grille was subpar.

Here is also a couple of shots of the engine bay before I refreshed and replaced many a sensor and gave the 3.9L V6 a tune-up. As you can see in this picture I already had removed the MAP sensor and TPS as well. More pictures to come...
