Not original motor, paint to thick on cowl to make vin stamp out and no build sheet. Lack of documentation is a negative

There is some good receipts for work done back in the day. You possibly could talk to the previous owners and do some homework on its history. I wonder if this is one of the 6 or so promo cars all built the same for show circuit for the new model year?
