AMX sold pretty cheap

Seems pretty inexpensive to me, though maybe that's a side-effect of looking at Mopar prices !

Agree.....nice looking car, I really do like the AMX and would love to own one someday. Many of them are 4 speeds. Guessing the automatic may have impacted the price on this particular one?

There is local guy by me, who has a '69 AMX 390 automatic. Dark forest green
with white stripes. He bought it new, after coming back from Vietnam.

A guy had one in the car club I was in, it was 390 4 speed.. was black on black. Sure was cool since 2 seater. Not sure if it was factory black or not. That car ran well and looked good. AMC knew what a person wanted when they made them.

I did a lot of work on one years ago for a friends Dad.

They are neat little cars and his had a shift kitted 727 and 4.10 gears.

It was a lot of fun on the street!

eh, wouldn't call that cheap for an auto car....

Not cheap, lots to clean up like the wrong color paint, Holley junk injection & yep, it’s an auto, best to convert to 4 speed or a later torqueflite 727, those iron case BW automatics were slugs.
