JS27N0B165251 - Buyer beware!

The fender tag for JS27N0B165251 was listed for sale via Ebay back in 2008.

Quote from the current seller - "So your bidding on 1970 R/T convertible parts that consists of a dash tag, fender tag, and radiator support numbers that all match with the correct 70 tail light panel, and r/t hood.
The 71 parts are the 318 convertible body with the Colorado rebuildable title ,build sheet , and original sales order."

The seller obscured the VIN & VON for his fender tag photo, but it is from JS27N0B165251.

It's unfortunate for all honest people, but there does not seem to be any end of the 'bastage's" to report.

Or guys that get upset when it’s discussed, claim it’s not illegal or at the very least ok, and make vehement defenses for such all while fronting that they’ve “never done it, but that doesn’t matter anyway and is beside the point.”

I wish I could have bought it for the 10 grand worth of parts I could use on mine.

It looks like he has more documentation on the 71 and, although not an R/T convertible, is still a nice car. The new owner should do the 71.
