If its real
And if that car is as nice in person as it looks in the few / limited pics.
Imo...that's a screaming deal....Ok maybe not a screaming deal BUT, IMO a decent buy
I don't see any dash vents for A/C ???

I see the correct four factory A/C vents in the interior picture. Seems like a super deal, based on the pictiures.

I see a few interior things that aren't perfect, and the cowl/door jamb area might indicate color change, but overall it looks good.
Of course, photos vs in-person could be vastly different.
Plus, it's a 500 and power windows are pretty rare on early Bs.
(If they're like the ones on a '65 Bel II I had, the work like guillotines !)
A '64 Polara nowhere near that nice just sold on Hemmings for $14,500.
Seems to me a very nice early B 2-door is easily a $20-25,000 car now.

This looks identical to one in Chico in the mid 90s. Super nice shape. The guy had a 64 Savoy for sale he found in the orchards somewhere. I just missed buying that car by an hour or so. He only wanted $1200 for it

I'd say the odds of it being a real 500 are good: interior & trim seem legit.
Interior code on the fender tag should tell, as long as it's the real fender tag.
Broadcast sheets were different in that era; my '64 Savoy had a small sheet.
I'm not sure if the 500 got an engine-turned applique in the big side molding; regular Polara was painted there.
Does seem the glovebox door should be red inside.

having been a follower of these cars for over 50 years I would bet 1,000 that it's a legit 64 Polara 500. Everything is right and someone would have had to go to A LOT of trouble to make a regular Polara into a 500. I hope this doesn't last long as I am having a hard time passing it up. The interior is going to cost some $$$, then suspension, brakes etc. It's a disease I was born with
Someone please buy this car

I was interested in the car until he said the title wasn’t in his name.

just a flipper
driving up prices for all while trying to avoid paying taxes
Not to mention if something pops up like a lein or estate problem guess who's holding the ball
Nah that couldn't happen could it?

If the car was everything I wanted. The open title wouldn't stop me at all. But thats strictly my opinion and choice, nothing more.
I like everything about it ESPECIALLY the options, as long as its a factory black with red int car. I'm not a huge fan of the 64 Dodge. But dont hate them either.
If this were a 64 Plymouth . I might be more open to the idea of getting back to 2 keeper cars.

I'm just the opposite on the Plymouth vs Dodge in 64.
63? Plymouth but I could do a Dodge as well
