WIW DC mechanical six pack carbs NOS

I know a guy who has a NOS complete set of DC mechanical six pack carbs List 4782 and 4783. He wants $2000 for the set. Just wondering if this is too much to pay. Thanks

If you're putting them on a healthy big block or a stroker small block you'll love em. been running them on various combo's for almost 50 years
They're almost like a passing gear when they open up. I've always liked to hit them about 30 mph in 3rd.you get the equivalent of 2 passing gears, one from the secondaries, the other when the trans drops to 2nd. FUN FUN FUN

They are NOS, and are still in the factory boxes
