Hmm...guess it was Spring Green with V21.
Green dash - or just the pads ? - but apparently a black interior is a curiosity.
Also, if that was rust at the quarters, I wouldn't expect that on a car from Citrus Hts.
Could just be body damage, but for the area at the rt rocker seam.
Left fender appears to have been bondo'd at some point.
Might not take too much to make it a half-decent driver.
Sure needs a more descriptive ad.

Wouldn’t those plates indicate it didn’t start in ca? 80s plates?

That used to be the case, but God only knows what their DMV does now.
Sometimes even years ago a clerk would insist on a new plate.
The car's original plate - if it originated new in CA - would be very late in the alphabet for black plates, or very early for the blue.
I had '69s that started with Y & Z (black) and A (blue).

I'm guessing floors are rusted. To what extent??? But the price is low enough to repair them. Trunk looks good. Grille looks real good. Looks like the original tail pipes still there. Engine compartment looks good and unsilenced air cleaner there, original radiator. Painted at one time under hood? Looks like wires to ballast resistor might have paint on them. Car looks somewhat unmolested. I wish it was close to me, it really deserves a look at this price and I love 727/column shifts.

Spring Green with green interior.
Looks like a solid car with some potential to be a decent driver.

If I was a painter, I would sure make a stab for it .
But my gut the car is long gone and the add will stay till its expires.

Look again at the interior: signs of green dash pads under black, but the rest of the interior appears to be original black.
Maybe the pads were replaced & re-dyed/repainted due to damage, or ???

I saw the green peeking out from under the dye black paint on the dash pads.

Keep in mind seat covers and door panels have ben avail for many many years . So its very likely the seats and door panels have been recovered, OR ( most likely scenario ) switched from another car altogether.

Without seeing a data tag and / or the car in person ,. Its hard to say which is correct . But my money is the interior in that car is not the original interior to that car

So then the Headliner plus the surrounding parts must have been changed/dyed to.
Anyway, I like it alot and it would be interesting to see what was the original interior color.

Its 50 years old and A LOT can happen in that time.

As an example.

About 30 - 35 years ago a friend of mine in northern Ky bought and flipped a red with red interior 1970 Cuda 440 six barrel auto car.

The kid that bought it ( he was maybe early - mid 20s at the time ) , went to the local auto parts store and bought A LOT of black vinyl die and sprayed the entire interior black before it left the shop. The Glass and inst cluster was taped off with news paper to keep most of it off the glass . Seats and door panels were pulled and layed in the gravel driveway and rattle caned it all black. Including the carpet and console . Then any overspray was cleaned up with a razor blade and lacquer thinner. 100% true story. I watched him do it and was in shock. As I m a sucker for red interior cars

When he drove it away it was now red with black interior. And was a real deal V code console auto car . I wish I knew where that car was today. No idea where it ended up as I never saw it again

It was a factory shaker car, but Jim kept the shaker and all its components. Switched it with another hood from a red cuda parts car
As far as I know Jim still has all the shaker stuff in his basement

This car was for sale for about 2 or 3 weeks, if i had the extra $$ I would of bought it. Looks like someone did scoop it up and is now trying to flip it for 29k on CL.

That was really my kind of RR. I love the '69 grille. I love the plane jane look and column shift. Priced great and unmolested (relatively speaking). I'd have driven mostly as is. Just no room for another right now.
