I like the gas door, are you still using the factory tank in the original location? How about a picture of the fill tube area in the trunk? I'm going to be doing something like this with my 48 Plymouth. It will be on a Dakota frame and the Dakota tank is in front of the axle. Trying to get an idea what its going to look like. Gene

the bonehead i am, i looked at your other posts first, and wasn't sure what i was looking at. now it sinks in ! that looks good ! i'm with gene, pics of the fill tube please !

yes i am useing the stock fuel tank but i haven't piped the fill neck yet but as soon as i do i'll post pic's hey im 64 and work goes slow for us old guys

tom 64 is no excuse,,,get out there in that tent and lets get it going,,,the floors need finishing,,

I had a set of those wheels on a 69 pick up a few years ago.I polished mine and painted the little gray sections white and they looked great.Wish I woulda kept the wheels went I sold the truck.

i am sanding and fixing all marks in the wheel now will start to polish them soon have one wheel that was curbed and im working on that as well something im doing is painting the back of the wheel a sliver paint having 4 wheel dics brakes it will be better to keep the clean and like you the gray part if the wheel im painting purple to match the car

hello, i too am building a 48 dodge 2 door sedan, mine is all stock at the present i bought a 78 440 and a 727 to go in, and planning on putting a cavalier rack in and disc brakes on, keeping the stock rear for the time being, filler looks good,

sounds good,, using fat man stuff for the cavilier rack ?? i have a power unit in my 40 dodge works great,, post some pics if you have a few,,,good luck

well guys i have been fighting this for over a year now and well NO GUTS NO GLORY so they say so call me a chicken for not just doing it right from the start or say im stupid for trying it but here go's im chopping the 48 dodge coupe (what am i out of my mind) is this a job for a 64yo guy to take on but with the help of my good friend FSTFISH66 we going to give it a shot
please let me know if i get in trouble you guys will also be there for help
