Pulling a hemi out of a 2008 dodge 1500

I am just about ready to pull the motor. Any advice on where to attach the chain to block? What to remove from engine before pulling? I notice the engine extends into cowl and am shaking my head....

You need to look into the "Gen III Hemi" section here on Moparts. Your going to find more info there concerning the modern Hemi then your going to find here. Lots more experience there then here. Gene

Pull the intake and there is 2 tapped hole in the center of the block . I made a block that bolts on here and a shackle will go through it.
