push-on window trim/seals - 08/13/15 04:15 PM

I am looking for some window trim / seals for my glass doors. Have about 7/32" gap between the glass and the door edges (pretty consistent on both sides and all around ). Door edge thickness = 3/32". Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, John

i remember seeing some straight lengths of "fuzzies" material[similar to the material in the glass channel]that were used as a universal application, attached to about a 1/2-3/4" stainless flat strip about 36" or so long. the strips were attached to the door on the outboard side, and the garnish molding on the inboard side. as there was a rolled bead at the top, this was used to align the door and molding edge and provide a finished look. bad thing is, i can't remember where i saw this. does your glass shop have any suggestions ?

Check out Restoration Specialties and Supply in Windber, PA. They will have pretty much everything that you will need. They may already have them made up for this application. Reach them at 814-467-9842. You can also see some of their product online by doing a search.
