long story short, friend of mine cuhemida picked up a 40 ply,, has a 318LA motor, with this crazy timing cover, it raises the water pump,said to be from a 1959/60 dodge truck 318 poly ,,any one know what else it may have come in ? or know where one is hiding ? thanks for looking

is that a poly raised pump housing on a la motor ? i didn't think the pump and housings were interchangeable. i think you would look for that in big trucks, buses and industrial applications such as generators, sirens, and irrigation pumps. it is kinda neat tho

these pics are of the poly motor,,,a poly 318 is the same block as what we call the LA motor, ,my friend has one of these timing covers on an LA motor
