Aftermarket Steering Column - 11/24/08 02:47 AM

Hi All,
I am thinking of buying an aftermarket column for my 34 coupe project and was wondering if anyone has experience with either Flaming River or IDIDIT columns? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

both are good products, but I have never used a new one, only junkyard columns in all my builds Ron...

Ok, Ron brings up another question. Are there certain junkyard columns that work better in streetrods than others? Favorites?

on cars that I need a shifter on the column I use a Cordoba column thay have a shifter and indicator

and some trucks or vans have tilts with no shifter on them. of I have used a column with a shifter and just cut off and filled the shifter hole to make a smoother looking one Ron...

Used Ididit on the 36 Plymouth, works great, installs easy.

I used a brushed stainless steel "Flaming River", with tilt easy installation and looks great
