First of all I feel your pain. I'm glad the car is repairable. The video looked liked it kicked a rod? Can you comment on your fire system? It looked like it knocked it down only to have it come back.

After having the car out of the trailer and starting to clean it up I will say the system did it's job and did it well.
It was an oil and alcohol fire it was out for the most part, then started up again. We are going to add 2 to 3 more nozzels under the hood with the system we are using you can run 6. We have what the rules call for which is 3. The plan will be to add at a min 2 at the fire wall in the engine compartment.
I am happy with the way it functioned, driver came out okay and most of the car is in good shape. Looking at the pictures you can see it never burned the paint on all of tubing.

Whether you rebuild or walk away; so few if any have ever built as wild a Mopar A-Body as yourself and the A-Body world is thankful to have witnessed and/or experienced it!! Here's to hope that the dart is wrenched back to health some day soon.

How bad is the metal, can it be cleaned and repainted or are you looking at a front half?
