There's a guy around here who races a '66 300. I have seen it run high 11's, I've been told it goes 10's on hose.

I used to race my 65 New Yorker when the Duster was down for upgrades. I'd always get a laugh as I pulled to the line and the guys in the stands would be wagering on the outcome. Kinda funny how much some guys were making off my going rounds against real race cars.

I Just back from cruiseing around the area . I think it needs a thermostate .It heats up then runs cool for awhile then heats up again.
It has a switch to kill the engine coil and Light two coils and spark plugs at the exhaust tip which exit out the side of the quater panel .
About 3 feet of flame out each side .
I real hit to everyone around it and my kids even thought it was cool.

I will get some more Pics Monday.

It has a 440 with 2 edelbrocks
Old school cut outs with levers on the floor .
it even has squirters spray the rear tires with water or ???
Still has the pushbutton trans..

That Imperial looks very cool and wicked!
Here is a nice video from our national finals two weeks ago where everything is wrong, looses traction after launch, the engine misfirng all the way but still running somewhat decent. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gkeZ_ZaYdZM&feature=youtu.be
We run in a heads up street class with the VIP, hold the national record both ET and speed, and won the championship this year. Actually this year was somewhat historical since all the medalists were mopars this year! Mafos '65 Valiant in the second place and Saulis '65 Valiant third!

The Imperial has Drag Week written all over it. A blown Hemi is almost a bolt in. Dave
