Not much. They're kind of like the 67-76 Dart wheel wells. I know a guy that had a 7" Ramcharger rim with a G60 tire on it that fit good. I think that's about a 255/60 in a radial.

With the right wheel a 28"x 9" slick or a 275-60-15 radial.

Here is a 255/50-16, 8 inch wheel. It does rub slightly on the inside on driveways and hard cornering.

Largest without major hassle, 255/60/15 on a 7" wide 4.25" backspace wheel.
I had a 275/60/15 on a 7" wheel and would never do it again. First, a 275 on a 7" is not recommended, should be on an 8". Second, it was a TIGHT fit, the wheelwell lips were folded up and I still had to remove the shocks so the axle would drop low enough for enough room to get the tire into the wheelwell. The tires never hit the inside of the wheelwell tubs although it was close, this was do to the car having a special 300lb/in spring rate, stock is in the 120-160lb/in range.

The upper part of the outer wheelhouse slants in at the top. There doesn't appear to be any body-clearance issue that caused this to be done, so I'd guess it was just a case of reusing parts by Chrysler. Keep that in mind when doing fitting. Just because it fits at the bottom without rubbing doesn't mean it will fit up top.

I concur, a 255/60-15 is the largest that will not be a pain in your a$$.
Nice looking car, Is it origionally a Belvedere? or did someone change the trim (does not have Satellite sill trim). I think the Belvedere / GTX lower sill trim looks nicer, personally. If I ever paint my car, I may go that direction.
If it was origionally ordered that way, that's a pretty rare piece! Also, the headrest seats is UBER-rare.

I just picked the car up on Wednesday, so I'm still taking it all in. This is my first pre 68 B-body.
The car is a Satellite Vin RP23. One of the previous owners had the car documented by Galen Govier, he broke down all the codes from the build sheet, fender tag, certicard and some other stamped locations around the car. As far as I can tell from reading through it everything is original as ordered. So I guess that's good
P.S. It also has AC, power steering and power drum brakes

What engine package? That's a nice one for sure. Great color combo (red int. isn't something you see everyday), Lots of options, rare exterior trim package, Headrest seats, Especially if its a 383 car I'd say keep that one original.
As you get to know 67 Satellite's a little better, you'll see how special that car is. I've personally never seen a set of the headrest seats, and I've never seen one with the Belvedere ext. trim. (I'd bet it had to be factory ordered special that way - ???) It also still has the bumper guard's (those usually get tossed when the bumpers get re-chromed). May I ask how much you paid for it??

I've never seen an original 67 Satellite without the Satellite lower body trim, it's more likely someone removed it and replaced the wheel opening moldings and lower body moldings with Belvedere/GTX items. If you have the Broadcast Sheet I'd like to see a copy of it, if the molding is in fact factory delete that would be one special car!
