Test&tune Thursday night at PRP. Lots of nice MOPARS - 07/15/11 07:32 AM

After running a 10.83 a couple of weeks ago Whiskyrunner has been trying to slow his Duster down to 11.50 till he gets his roll bar installed. It looks like we hit the combo tonight with some consistency. He added 100# and disconnected the secondaries, made a couple of jet changes and a chassis adjustment. He had to work till 5:30 so we had a chance to make 4 hits before the track closed.
#1. 11.46 Reaction time .001
#2. 11.51 Reaction time .012 Carpet under pedal needed trimmed.
#3. 11.46 reaction time .007
#4. 11.46 reaction time .033
Here are a few pictures of his car and several other Mopars at PRP tonight.

Gene Nagy and his beautiful 7 second Stratas

Friend Joe's 9 second Duster

Several other Mopars

And a super clean GTO.

Thanks for the thumbs up on the pictures guys. Matt has always been a pretty good footbraker Ted. With Moparts members A.J.Casini, Nick Bowman, Mark Romeo, and many other lurking in his class there's some stiff competition. I didn't even get a chance to walk the street car lanes last night as I was walking around doing to much bsing. The Tedesco's at PRP do such a great job on these test&tune nights and only charge 25.00 dollars to test or 7.00 dollars to watch. You see cars that you never see on race day as these kids (and grown ups) are just out having fun. I will try to get Matt to fill in the times on the other cars later today as he knows the cars in his class better than I do.

That red Duster is so clean that every time I see it I just shake my head. Joe is a retired mechanic at a local Mopar dealership and has done everything on the car himself. If you ever get a chance take a close look at it. The welds on the cage are beautiful and its not even painted. I'm pretty sure it has either stage 5 or 6 heads on it and I watched him click off a 9.93 last night and this is not a gutted car.
