i have a 414 inch small block, race only dart.high compression 620 lift cam. it has a torker 340 intake with 950 hp holley. koffel's place said when they built it the torker made more hp., but i thought while i was doing some things i would try another one. i have a one inch spaceron the torker. any real life experiance gong to a mopar m1 with a 2 inch spacer. thanks for any info.

I ran a M1 with a dom adapter on my W-2... it runs
better with the Indy W-2 with the adapter (that was
the big runner M1)... but I think I changed a few things
at the same time so I cant say for fact what was better

I am going to try a 1" open spacer under my existing 1" 4 hole Wilson spacer on my Victor 340 this Friday night just for ( 408 motor ).

It really depends on th rest of the combination, where the rest of your parts make power, and where you need it most.
If you have not looked at my 421 dyno post yet,I tested a Super Victor and a ported Victor on it.
Is yours an original Torker,or a Torker 2?

Is it a torker2? Cuz there's a big difference between the standard torker and torker 2. If I remember right the 2 is pretty comparable in performance to the m1 and victor. I ran a victor and a m1 on an 408 that ran 11 ohs. They were pretty comparable. I couldn't even tell you which was better really. I think the m1 was better mid range and victor had slight edge up top but overall not really an e.t. change.

it looks like maybe the booster signal went down on the victor manifold and it went lean due to it loosing 10-15lbs of fuel with teh super as compared to the plain victor,, if you had just richened it up it would prob have picked the tq back up and made more hp,,

you can just take a calculator and aveage every 1000rpm,, then compare those numbers to see gains,, thats what i do but my dyno does it automatically through the range i select,, you can also look at average fuel comsumption numbers to see if they go up or down with manifold changes/carb changes,, etc..

to me after looking at your test,, id still say super victor all teh way

on my 398 w2 small block with a 1000cfm i went from victor to indy and indy was about .08 quicker

Thanks for the tips!
We were on a tight schedule when we tested the Victor.Vic had borrowed Jeff's Cubic 1150,and we wanted to return it that afternoon.
I will be doing more testing this weekend or early next week and can take the time to dial in the A/F mixture.
I thought when I bought my SV,it would work well for this, not too many were out there at the time to hear any results.
