Factory Race Hemi Seat Brackets ?

What's the difference between 1965 A990 seat mounting brackets and 68-69 Race Hemi Factory brackets. Both use A100 seats.

My bet is where they attach to the floor pan. A-Body vs B-Body.

B brackets are taller than the A.

yeah i would like to have a set for my 67 , i have a set of a100 seats, but i'm not paying $250 plus for a set of brackets, i think i can make the adj brkts that Jegs sells work and there only 20 bucks a seat. Damn the look.

a-body brackets are mirror image of each other, while on b-body 1 bracket is longer then the other due to floorpan fitment. may be other differences, not sure. dave

A shear (or saw), a brake, 3 hole saws, & a copy of the the 65 or '68 S/S authentication guide &$38.00 worth of 1/4in sheet alum & you can make your own.......

It helps when your son is a seat engineer. I made the brackets. He had the whole seat built from scratch. Not exact copies but they weigh on 20 lbs apiece with the floor brackets. My buddys Hemi S/S Dart was 28lbs minus the brackets.

Completed seats. The brackets were easy. I'd make them if I were you.

are you going to do the holes in them?

I actually lowered the seats to the floor. My son is tall so I wanted him to fit the car as well. You don't see too muck of the bracket. I think I will do the outers though.
