Looks like a European front license plate. Hard to have an opinion without info but my guess, it's real.

They are real. A guy on cc.c has one he has been restoring. It has history and is in some mags being displayed. I am not fond of them, but they exist. I dont know enough about them to comment on them, but he has a post with links on Cuda-challenger.com

cool find,dont think its fake since most wont think of cloning one of those,following the its not a 1971hemicuda or similar thinking..
yes i believe that could be a swedish plate its looks alot like the old square ones we used to have around..
shame i cant see the whole number on it,could probably find some info on it, if it was swedish.
like the old tractor aswell looks alot like a old volvo tractor.

I'd like to hear what Reed Koeppe knows about the car. There was such a car built & campaigned, likely had some clever stuff done to it. Note the door rust, which might be from acid-dipping, unless someone used it as a winter beater, which wouldn't seem likely.
