But it may not happen!! The weatherman is calling for a 70% chance of rain and we have points races one and two for the coming weekend...

Sunday looks a lot better,I wonder if they will have us do both races in one day? When they do that,I think you only get one TT and go 1/8th mile racing..It will be a crap shoot for sure..Since I have very limited time using a tranny brake,I am gonna footbrake it till I get some more seat time..

Try the trans-brake,I think you will adapt to it no problem.

Thanks,guys! It is a heckuva feeling dropping the hammer at 4800 rpms..This thing is an animal now!! Jimmy put my Dedenbaer(SP) switch on the steering wheel so I don't have to reach down by the shifter..I am looking forward to having a good year!!

Good luck Ted on the weather and T brake,,,hoping things clear up around here and we have a good weekend also,looks good for Fri and Sat but Sunday might be iffy in the afternoon,,this is the first time out this year soooooo

Good idea! Ive even got my chevy buddys sporting the BGR swag!

And its been raining for a month straight here.

The sun is out at this very second, but who know how long that will last.

I am hoping for good weather for you.

Being an old time(er) footbrake racer, I would just footbrake the thing until you can get some test time behind the button.

I went from footbrake,to break,and back again.I think old habits are hard to brake(pun intended).
I just seem to react better footbraking,I guess when you don't play video game that is what happens!

dont you love how iowa mostly rains on saturdays ??

might as well sell this race car -- it just sits in the garage while it rains every weekend...

I even took Saturday off work to race--- now its 60% chance of rain

I have to work Sat. I hope to get out next week and try the new ladderbar/coilover set up. Get on that tranbrake Ted! You will never want to footbrake again! Its a kick in the a$$.

That sounds like last weekend here , supposed to be a wash but didn't rain a drop.

Tonights test session is a wash..

Saturday isn't looking any better..If we run Sunday they will do both points races plus a quick 16..I am hoping to pull a 6.4x in the 1/8th...
