Drag Pack Challengers - 01/14/11 09:39 PM
Does anyone else think we should have a ongoing thread like the one for the AH Hemi cars but for the drag packs? There are plenty of them being raced and being built. Also some of the racers that have them are real charactors. It would also help keep everyone in touch with whats going on and the trick of the week.

would be real cool, mabey post some ets, pics of course, love stock/ss elim.
Great idea! Like them or not,its a new era for Mopar and factory supported class racing!
Though a new DP is not in my budget,I will be running the Drag Pack 360(new Hemi later)and Jerico in my wagon in GT and am certainly going to be following the upcoming SS DP cars closely.

We race in AA/SA with the 6.1 @3300#.The first race was the Fall nats at Ennis and ran a 9.86 @136 on the first full pass.Have been faster testing,at the Pinks thing in Houston we went 6.05 @114 to the 1/8,but that was not on a Q sheet so I don't count it.

The program has always been a ton of work.... there's never a shortage of things to do. It's very rewarding, though, and the kind of work that'll pay off for Mopar racers for many years to come, so I'm all about it.
Steve is the man for openly saying thanks like that. I couldn't believe when he did that....whatta guy!

this car ran 10.00 that was 1.8 under the index at Indy using 5.7 power in F/SA Mike Roth built bullet. It also won best appearing at an NHRA divisional meet.

One thing for sure you have to work on the DP to make them run, unlike the CJ that comes plug and play. These things are the future of the sport no matter how hard us old guys cry.

B&B did the work on our car,we work with a well known engine builder on that program,Mike Roth did the headers and brackets, and we put it all together.BTW Mikes headers fit is perfect and best of all they make power.
