Minnesota members?

Trying to find out how many MN area members would be interested in a Mopar Day at Grove Creek? Going to get ahold of Rick, and see if we can't do something on a Saturday night race. Race would be run like a normal gamblers race, but for Mopars only... Any thoughts?

Can Cheese Heads come and play also.....Love Grove Creek and race there pretty often.....Our sons will have 2 cars next year....74 Dodge Colt with s/b stroker Mopar engine and a 80 Plymouth Arrow with 451BB.....Count us in.....Jesse

I would make the 320 mile trek to Grove Creek from the frozen tundra of Roseau, MN to meet some of you guys!!!

I'd go if it wasen't on a weekend that Brainerd is running. I know of 4-5 other Mopars that might come also.

I emailed Rick, and sent him a link to this post. Hopefully something can come of it. Would be a fun time I think. Wouldn't shock me to get enough interest to get 100 extra Mopars at the event, with enough planning and getting the word out.

I added at post at www.660dragracing.com.
This is a new Forum for 1/8 mile.
Many of the members run Grove Creek
all the time.

I lived for awhile in Minnesota and have nothing but fond memories from that time. If I win the Lottery I will bring my Charger across the big pond to participate.

Uhhhh it's 17 degrees there right now....although Milner does call me every so often letting me know he's hiring. Guess I have something to fall back on if need be.

The reference to the "over mit" was for the longest towed award. Ragnar said if he hit the lotto he'd attend thus towing a wee bit furthr than you.

Sorry for the hi-jack Jeff , but if you get this thing planned I'll help spread the word to those eastern sodak mopar guys.

Just short of a miracle I wont be running. But, I'd certainly enjoy attending as a spectator. Plus it's important to keep a majority over the cheeseheads.
