Sorry, I didn't get any video of the pulls on gas but here is the sheet. Much better then the previous gas runs

Here are the first of the alky pulls. Started W/ 33 deg timing. Only difference between the 2 was oil temp.

Upped the timing to 35*

Increased mains from 160' to 168's

Oil temp up to around 150*

Increased the jets again to 172's

Oil temp does matter. Back up to 150.

Bottom line #'s 751 hp @ 6200 and 712 Ft lbs @ 5000.

Neither of the previous builds topped the 700 mark on peak torque so this should hopefully better match the conv which by all accounts wanted a little more. Might still need to tweak it but I'm gonna test it as is first and see where it falls.

now change the oil before you make a run and put in 10 new quarts.... then run 9.50's or so

Oil and water has been drained

We actually ran the motor on gas to aid in winterizing before taking it off the pump.

Hey ive been a buck 45 since I was in high school, and Ive never gone past 150. So Ill make a "fast" pilot someday if I ever get the Demon to the Track.

Congrats, Billy. I thought I heard thunder coming from the West. What happened to the FireCore Coil? No dyno's with that again? or is that still on your car? Scott needs to keep those on is shelf for costomers to oogle over.

Rick, the coil is still on the car.

We also didn't test with the APD spacer either.

Probably should have used both. They are worth some poawer for sure.

How much power was added since Scott first dyno'd the motor with your old combo? TQ & HP

The first build had 759 Hp and 601 ft lbs.

The cam timing in this motor puts it more on par with the second build which made 718 hp and 683 ft lbs.

The carb is an APD 950

The best pull as it came out of my car

The best we got once we put the alky carb on it.

So from straight out of your car on gasoline to Scott's dyno 538HP & 455TQ

Now 751HP & 712TQ same dyno

You picked up 213HP & 257TQ

What was your best ET with the 538HP combo
