Since this is a MOPAR message board I will update you with more important info.

The 1969 383 SUPER BEE went 11.62 @ 118.61 with a 1.77 60 ft... Hats off to Dwayne Porter AGAIN for putting this combo together. I made the run yesterday in killer air. I put together similar runs today the best being a 11.66.

Well ok then - not sure if you're stroked but man - its pretty impressive to see a 383 screw as fast as a 440. - now that's quite an achievement . What you have up your sleeve for mods this winter Harry ?

Andy , it's 511(512) inches, there is a thread on here about the car and an article on it.

That was the SB 4bbl record at the time.

I believe Brian Wilsey has had it for several years now...... well into the 10’s(10.70’s??).

I can remember when the NHRA world record for SB in SS cars like SS/IA,SS/I, for 340 and 350 C.I. motors in Dusters, Demons, Camaro and so on was 10.70 something back in the mid 1970s

A good friend of mine set the E/SA NHRA record in the late 1980s or maybe the early 1990s at 10.83 at 122. MPH( I think I'm close on those numbers

) and no one could reset it faster for 2 years due to him bombing that record at the old Infineon track in July I believe. He was good with SB

He was good enough to make NHRA punish him in has last stocker by on adding HP to a 1970 Challenger T/A combination so much he ended up quitting drag racing and went off road touring in a jeep for fun

I think Brian’s butterscotch duster is for sale. When Chris went 11.44 there was more in the car. IIRC He got one of those offers he couldn’t refuse. Plus I think they told him to slow down or put a bar in it.

It's too bad NHRA has their head up their ass. Jess Seuter had a bad ass small block stocker!! Cab do you know what happened to that car?

I don't know about that car, I barely remember Jess Seuter name

I quit NHRA stock class racing in the end of 1988 when I sold my 1963 M.W. Belevdere

I should have kept that car and several others

Im thinking there was a heated thread around 2005 someone saying no way Dwayne Porter could have his 383 car running 11s if I remember this correctly.

And your super bee with skinny tires and exhaust manifolds goes 11s.
