Just pitted next to him at Norwalk last month.

I also just saw him at Norwalk and he was as fine. At least he seemd fine and didn't say anything about being in bad health or anything.

sad to hear he has passed.he was sitting on the starting line at the classic with all kinds of people standing in his way to see so i pushed him practicly on to the track to watch and stood next to him for a moment glad to share it with him.a great guy forsure!

This truly saddens me to hear of this. Rick was such a great guy always with a smile on his face and a kind word. I just can't believe he is gone. I so glad to have spent some time with him at Norwalk. RIP my friend you were a great friend and I'll miss you.

I have talked to him more times than I can remember.I hope Clem or Gorski can post a few photos from Norwalk a few years back

Those were good times with lots of smiles

This is a great man I will truly miss his presence at MOPAR events and the local dragstrips.

as of right now the memorial service is being held on sunday oct 17 at 2pm at columbia station VFW . My dad is going to see if we can use the park which is right next to the VFW for a memorial carshow i will post more updates as i get them

As other have said I talked to him and shook his hand at norwalk..I am shocked..didn't know he was at risk of being that bad..He seems like rick we always know..He always remember my name..always a smile..will be missed..you had to always walk away from him and think what hell do I got to complain about..

If that doesn't happen then we have to name a race in his honor maybe at the Classic next year

so i talked to my dad today and he said that there wont be a big carshow but you guys are more then welcome to come in your mopars and that we will try to have a spot roped off for the cars so that they arent mixed up with every day drivers
