Well Guys, It looks like we wont be coming to Norwalk. Took car out for some shake down runs. First pass car did good burn out then, walked out at launch 2.39 60 foot. What the Hell????? It was like driving moms car from redlight. Check the motor everything looks good nothing loose or broken. Try second pass, Car launches 1.69 60' runs a 6.33 114 something still doesnt feel rightcheck all connections fuel spark motor is good trans was quart low added a quart. 3rd pass car goes 1.49 60 still felt like it walked out from idle at lauch half track trans sounded like a blower motor, trans temp went to 300 and climbing shut down , Amsoil compressor oil smells like nothing I have ever smelt. I think trans and convertor are gone but thing is let it cool and it moves around fine. John

Do you have a restriction in the cooler lines(fittings)
thats alot of heat for a pass

I agree pull it, fix it, report back, move ahead. Your bad luck has got to end one of these days.

The fittings, and cooler are same ones, we have had for the pass 4 years, the trans has never gone 180 on run before, reading my TSR book it giving things like servo and band also filter clogging, We will pull the pan and see but I think its going to need a rebuild and convertor check.

If it's a glide you may have killed the sprag in the convertor

Yes it is a glide Reid case with full roller set up 1.80 straight cut, built by Sid Neal. John
