I'm trying. If nothing else,I.m going as a spectator this year.
Between dealing with my dad's estate, sending my daughter off to her first year of pre-med,and actually trying to do some work, there just isn't much time left in a day.
I did go get some of the bugs worked out of it last week, that cost me a round at the Martin CC event(last race attended).
I definately want to see your car Josh, just down-right beautiful!!

Are there any of you guys who could sign off on a few license passes??
V10
Our gang of misfits will be there to race, about 10 of us.
We like the relaxing grass side of the track better. Come over and say hi if you want to.
It's to hard for all us to be together in the pits and my 53' trailer is kinda big for the pit side. Too many people complain I am taking up to much real estate.
Hope to see some of you guys there.

I'll be there in Linders Thursday making sets.. Stop by Linders. Lord knows we will need something to do while waiting. I'll have cold ones and an A/C enclosed making sets in Linders, than at the track in between me racing. So many new cars this year. I really feel it may be the best one yet. Although, when Wheatcrafts and Xtreme Clothing sponsored the band and party a couple of years back, that was really hard to top. No Goldburg, though.

Heck yeah. You have the special red headlight password!
If you pit in the grass it is at the high end on the left side of the track.
Oppsite side of the paved pit areas.
Sometimes they don't let you in till the pits get a bunch of cars in there.
Everything up by the scoreboards in the grass is for the show car/swap meet/for sale cars to park.
Later David

Bad news. Willie won't be coming. He's going to stay at Great Lakes Dragway and in the Chi Town area for a while. He had 20,000 racers Sunday, sing happy birthday to him. They are tweaking his stuff, and the powers that be couldn't make it happen. No biggie. He's going back home to New Orkeans for a class reunion, then Don Garlits in Nov. He is sorry , and wished he could have come.
