Just curious as it is a little over a week away. If you have not raced this event in the past it is worth it for the guaranteed payouts and the fact that there has historically only been like 6 cars in box class.

does this mean youre coming then?

We'll be there, Dad with the RR, Mike and I with P body. Hoping to park in the same area we do every year.

Coming out on Friday before the race though and running in thier Heads Up program also.

when you come in the back gate, you go forward past the offfice, and then on the left in that area towards the first road, hopefully near a tree.
I like that space, straight shot from return road, straight shot to the lanes, on grass, with shade and a short walk to the bathroom,

Larry, Kay, Lonnie and us have parked there every year the last 4 or 5.

That Friday is the heads up race and gets crowded fast, so we planned on being there early (10am) and being one of the first in.

I plan on bringing out the GTX for my final fling of the season,most likely! Major neck surgery looming in 2-3 weeks! Looks like I'll have to wait until next year to see that 11-flat time slip!

Oh well...can't complain,car's been pretty darn dependable this year!

He can run the 51 Ford in Nostalgia class! All makes pre 1978 are welcome. Double check but thats how the event has been run in the past.

Now that I have the Charger pretty much dialed in I think I may bring it to run if I can get the belt situation resolved. If not I bring it & just watch. I keep throwing fan belts & power sterering belts anything near 6200+ RPM's.

I hope to be there....looks like the GTX is staying home though! Getting too much heat from the wife...and my neurosurgeon...to BABY my neck!

I've been pretty stubborn...doing things that I know I shouldn't be,with this screwed-up neck of mine! I REALLY paid the price wednesday night and all thursday morning...with a NASTY headache,that took forever to get rid of..after trailering the car to the Harper Cruise!

Kinda felt like this..

Sometimes..just gotta listen to the "voice/voices of reason"!!! STUBBORNLY!!!

Hope to see ALL of you there! Scott B....I'd LOVE to see your car run,PLEASE bring it out!!!

And Gary...it would be great to see you again! Hope You can make it!

Bummer, May not be able to take the Charger anyway. The Wife just called me & the City is marked off our street in front of my house & our driveway approach last Friday. They are digging it all up as of this morning.(which is way over due). The concrete is terrible. My headers scrape on some of the area's that are heaved or dipped. I can't get my car out. I'll have to check with my neighbor to see if he is O.K. with me going across his lawn to use his driveway.(which I doubt).

Is there a minimum et for the No Box class? and Is there any cut off point( too quick) for the Trophy Class?
