Milan NSS Question - 08/15/10 01:01 AM

i was thinking about running the Dart in B/NSS @ the upcoming event at milan, not sure if im reading the rules right but it sounds like i can't run anything more than a 10.5w?? i have 29x14.5 hoosier DOT tires right now. just wondering if i can run those, i'm sure not going to go out and buy anything different just to race for a weekend.

Thanks for any insite

I think the best way to be sure would be to call Milan

10.5W is the biggest you can go in NSS.

I think you should call the track. There are a few NSS classes here where you can run a 14.5 Tire..

Milan has nothing to do with the class rules, they are the rules set by nmca. And the rules state 10.5wx31 max with 10.5wx33 for afx cars.

Thanks Bill, but I will be there and we will probably be in the same class. If that is the case if it is you and I how bout we run them heads up and not care about the index or a trophy? I would love to beatup on my old car!!!!!!!!!!(LOL). We will make a pass with the 170lbs. in and then take it out and see if we can get it to still hook and go fast enough to get down to the next class. I am hoping we can get down to the 8.75 class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Jake
