At what rpm did you set the brake at... seems that some
of the T/A brakes you need to be about 1500 rpm's or
better then you can go to the set rpm... otherwise you
dont have enough line pressure

were you in 1st or D? i had a TA brake, it worked very well, cut real good lights with it & it could be set at idle, if you weren't in 1st you might have a line pressure problem. with everything turned off can you hear the solenoid click when you activate the button?

I had a problem with a older T/A brake that had a
machining issue... both me and my tranny guy had the
same issue... he called them and they sent out 2 parts
for both of our units... a wall in the brake was flexing
back and forth with the pressure and finally cracked
and it would bleed off pressure allowing it to creap
and finally wouldnt hold at all.... since then its
been great(about 8 years now)
