This as taken so long, and Mrs G-bob faithfully goes to MATS with me every year and hangs out at the starting line shooting pics. I'm afraid not next year.

The car I've been promising her for several years is finally coming home to be put back together. If I don't get it picked up tomorrow evening, it will be saturday morning for sure.

She'll be hanging out in the show area with her own ride. Just a little assembly to do between now and then.

Seriously though, it may never see a track.
Motor is a 426 wedge with stealth heads worked over by Brian, 9.6:1
Made 458hp and 486 ft lb with the 770 avenger carb.
The 8 3/4" going in it is set up with a 2.94 suregrip.
Planning on it being a freeway flyer.

That will be great for evening rides in the country..and maybe kill a couple mustangs and camaros along the way...

85 roll ... LOL... should get decent mileage

yout right, i did'nt notice that gear...the race will have to go to the freeway...
..or..put a low gear set in the tranny
