LOL, Well if I didn't have some other projects in front of me right now, I may have been able to do it.

As for my combo, I don't want to hi jack the thread too bad so I will give the basics.

It is a 434ci. small block that has been build out of a 1969 318 block. It was a ported J head that sat on top of it all. Stay tuned! I will post up my new combo (same short block) in a little bit. All I am short right now is push rods

Here is the first run off the trailer with the J engine...

happen to remember who the seller was on ebay for those? also, have you had any sealing problems with them?

Re: SB ALUMINUM FABRICATED VALVE COVERS - 06/17/10 04:02 AM

They were used, looked like a one off deal & I had to polish them. No problem sealing.

They were listed wierd, so no one saw them.

I made some time to sit down and start drawing out the valve covers. Not complete yet, but I need some sleep now...

Re: SB ALUMINUM FABRICATED VALVE COVERS - 06/25/10 01:14 PM

How would you bolt them on??? Really long studs?? Could you notch out the bolt wholes to use shorter bolts??
LOOKS GOOD THOUGH!!!!!

Why? The bolts are best being easily accessed from the top. That's why I like mine so much.
You can pull the cover in a minute with an allen key.

Re: SB ALUMINUM FABRICATED VALVE COVERS - 06/25/10 07:25 PM

The holes will be tubed and you would use long bolts. I need to find a local source for the small tubing, and then find the approriate hardware.
