Can you put roller lifters in backward or left and right for oiling holes?

If your lifters have the captured link bars(can't remove the links) they only go in one way

im just havin a major oiling issue with the #8 getting all the oiling up th pushrods and none to the other ones.had motor freshened cant figure out why.
