BB Rocker shafts - 03/16/10 02:34 AM
I have been tring to buy a set of BB rocker arm shafts from Hughes Engines for over a month and today they tell me that because the supply is so short they won't sell just the shafts, only with the rockers as a kit.
My question is who has the next best shafts, that can actually be purchased, to use with alum rocker with out needle bearings?
These are Mopar Performance rockers (made by Crane I think?)
Thanks, Brian

Call & talk to them, they sell thick walled bannana grooved shafts with screw in plugs at the ends.. The Bannana grooves won't work with roller bearing but spread the oil providing better lubrication with bushed or metal to metal contact type rockers.. The screw in plugs can't pop out like typical core type plugs causing a loss of oil pressure & they can be removed for cleaning...
They also sell high quality steel rocker shaft hold downs...

RAS shaft and bushed iron rockers all from RAS.
Shafts are available in std size also.

The last time I needed shafts RAS was out of stock and I had to get a set from Hughes. That was last year, so I can't say if RAS has them available individually now or not.
