The cam's going to need a specified seat and open pressure. As long as you have .050 before coil bind and you have .050 clearance to the valve guide seal also, lift is irrelevant. Find out the recommended seat and open pressure need for the cam's lobe profiles if you are not sure.

how big is the cam....
and if the eddy springs dont have enough seat pressure ...they wont hold up at all.
