I have a Meziere and noticed it took a while to get primed. But I don't recall if I did anything special to get it primed and moving. Make sure it's running (mines pretty quiet), grounded good and wires aren't backwards.

I went through this earlier this year and members here helped. I ended up unbolting the motor and air pocket came out along with water, lol, then tightened it back up and refilled and car never ran cooler.

I have the reverse flow pump. We just installed a bleeder screw to get the air out.

ok maybe it is just air.i tried filling the top radiater hose.thinking it would fill the pump.but i still see no water moving in the radiater.i have the blue wire to the hot and the black to the ground and the pump runs fine.just no water movement.

I just leave the top two nuts loose until I see fluid.

i use Mezzaire's reverse flow. i find if i drain the water i need to lift the front of the engine a little to burp the airlock that gets created. once burped it's good to go everytime.

When I first switched to a Meziere I could NOT get the thing to circulate water. I bought one of these kits off Ebay for around $75 to fill the system with no air pockets and haven't had any trouble since. The air bleed setup looks alot easier but this method works well.

You have an air pocket somewhere. I had to loosen the bolts on mine to make a vent to get it to pump. Do this with the pump on and also try squeezing the hoses to get something to move.

This is a common problem. We changed two pumps last year and both pumps did this on two different cars. In most cases its just a priming issue. Like mentioned above air pockets seem to be the cause. If memory serves me right cant you change the water flow just by switching the wires around? Also first things first. We need to check & see if the pump is actually working. You said you checked the fins?
1) Does this mean you checked voltage coming in to the pump?
2) Did you check the pump while off the motor and watch the fins propel when the switch is activated?

Mine has to be bled also. I drilled a hole in the top to bleed it. I circled it in red.

Stupid question but is the radiator above the water neck on the pump?
Take the top radiator hose off the tank, leave the cap off the radiator fill it up, cycle the pump a few times, it best to have a extra set of hands....
Those little bleeds work...they are stock on a bunch of Chrysler cars....3.5 and 3.3 V-6's have them...

Does anyone have part #'s for the bleeder screws? My mopar alum. housing has an 1/8" pipe port on top that would work great.I went to a couple parts houses, and no one could help. Does it really work even though the bleeder is lower than the top of the radiator?I have a stock radiator in my coronet, and see no water movement, but it does cool o.k.I should see water moving, right?

I just used brake bleeder screw. Should be easy to find at any parts store. The port will have to be at the highest point in the water pump housing.
Yes the bleeder screw works very well. If you have no water movement your car would most likely overheat in a matter of minutes.

Your trying to bleed tha air out of the pump not the whole system. It will get the pump flowing for sure. I just tapped mine 10/32 and put a screw with a gasket on it.

Have you warmed the engine up yet.... every year when
I drain the anti freeze and fill it with water and
water wetter I have the same issue... I warm up the
engine some(feel by hand cause the gauge wont be right)
then I squash the hose a few times and it will finally
prime..... also try jacking the front of the car
up so the air in the block will try to head to the
radiator

I have a CSI on my car that I have never had a problem with. Every time I just fill the radiator, and no problems priming. I can see it moving fluid through the radiator. Maybe I'm just lucky.
