9' deck push rod length - 12/03/09 02:02 AM
I have not ordered a 50 MM cam yet ( waiting on a better economy) What is the average length on a 9" deck? Mine is a 9" deck 50mm w9's with T&D rockers .I know,Measure, just can't righ now. I see all these high dollar push rods on Ebay cheap, They won't fit much I guess.

I see there all over the place on size. Most of the stuff listed on the bag are in the 8-9" range anyway.

I'm interested in upgrading my pushrods. So I got on the bag to check this out. Most of these pushrods for sale are made by trend. Great pushrods but can't be shortened. They are chrome moly and one peice. Every brand of lifter requires a little difference in pushrod length. I can't remember specifically but I think just over 8" with a 60 mm cam Morrel lifters 9" deck and 1.75 jesels on CFE W8's. My engine will not clear a 7/16 by the port on the intake side. Currently run 3/8 but this is going to change. Single taper on the intake and straight on the exhaust I beleive. Will have to look.
