AUSTRALIAN REALITY TV SHOW FEATURING GRASS ROOTS DRAG RACING TO FILM
AT WILLOWBANK RACEWAY IPSWICH ON 19-21 MARCH & 30-31 JULY 2010.
MELBOURNE -26 October 2009. - 1320X Australia Drag Racing event series and television show is
proud to announce it will be filming at Willowbank Raceway, Ipswich on the 19-21 March 2010 and on
the 30-31 July 2010.
Launched in the USA on 4 July 2008, 1320X is the latest drag racing venture to come out of
Disruptive Studios in Los Angeles, and is being produced in Australia by Frazzica
Productions. Disruptive Studios is responsible for the Pullin Television produced series
‘PINKS All Out’, which is currently filming its fourth season. The 1320X brand focuses on grassroots
drag racing and is an action packed family friendly event. Stephen Pullin, co-founder of Disruptive
Studios recently said, “ Australia has a drag-racing market which, for the most part, has been untouched
and unrecognized by the rest of the world. Being an Australian native myself, I look forward to being
able to not only represent this fast-growing sport, but to also showcase Australia’s racers and all of their
glory.”
Frazzica Productions, who recently signed the deal with Disruptive Studios to produce 1320X Australia,
will be responsible for bringing 1320X to television towards the end of 2010. “We are delighted to be
able to bring this event to Ipswich and be part of the mega 3 Day event in March. Everyone loves
spending time in Queensland and to have multiple events at our home track Willowbank Raceway is a
dream come true.” This will be the 2nd event of the 1320X Australia series. “We look forward to
showcasing Willowbank Raceway and Queensland to our USA audience and we are expecting a great
turnout,” says Joe Frazzica, Executive Producer of 1320X Australia.
Managing Director of Willowbank Raceway Steve Bettes is delighted to welcome 1320X Australia to
Willowbank Raceway. “Several months ago we met with Steve Pullin from Pullin Television USA,
representatives from Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale’s office, and have now met Joe and Tatiana Frazzica
from 1320X Australia, and to say that we are looking forward to 1320X Australia is the greatest
understatement of the year”

television coverage for sportsman drag racers and 1320X is going to provide the same exciting
opportunity in Australia where our sportsman drag racers will become the stars on TV. This concept is

1320X Australia will open a major weekend of Pro Street / Street and Sportsman Style Racing, with the
program extending into Sunday for the Street Machine Magazine Pro Street and Muscle Car Nationals
over the weekend of March 19-21. “This will unquestionably be the Largest Pro Street / Street and
Sportsman Style Drag Racing event ever staged in Australia and we are proud to host both of these
events at Willowbank Raceway on the one weekend” commented Bettes
The 3-Day event will feature major trade displays, car show and lots of activities for the families and car
