Super Stock Challenger - 11/03/09 03:38 AM
There have been a posts recently talking about the Cobra Jet Mustangs and SS challengers.
Just want to keep the dream alive and let it be known that there is a SS challenger being built.
It has taken a while but being the first has taken alot of effort.
We will try to keep you posted.

Mike, are you building this at MPR? I've been wanting to get in touch with you and MP to see how things are going.

Looks like it's typical of Mike's high quality work! Any idea when you'll have it done?

Re: Super Stock Challenger - 11/03/09 01:35 PM
I am wondering why I haven't heard of Griffiths car hitting the track since it was the first completed. I saw it at Indy as a show car when Randy & Mel Warford, Big Daddy, Doug Duell and Irvan Johns were making passes.

G's seems like kind of a show poodle for the time being...And a darn beautiful poodle to boot....maybe they'll start running it later on? One can only hope.
Nice looking fab work on the tubbed one, can't wait to see it done.

Re: Super Stock Challenger - 11/04/09 02:03 AM
some know him as one who has piloted Chevy powered dragsters and a few Corvettes.
Now he spends time between Super Gas and a SS/DA Cobra Jet Mustang.
Some of us Call Him Captain B S?
Yes it is Rock Haas of Haas Carrothers and Wagner.
Quite a character for sure?
Bring the gang with you. I need some input on the fitting of some parts.

Re: Super Stock Challenger - 11/05/09 10:57 PM
I thought SS required a portion of the stock floor to run the length of the car?
Looks amazing, and glad to see someone brave enough to cut one up
it will be interesting to see what kind of times these cars end up running in a few years, after people start further developing their engine programs.
