He would have had to add at least 300 lbs. to his car in order to meet the minimum weight for Heavy Street. I give Eddie credit for at least getting his car out there. Hopefully, he won't get roughed up by some of the Yellow Bullet guys!
Lee Saunders' Viper is in the top 10 with a nice 7.88.
Damn, the ET spread in that field is 3 full seconds!

That may be a record for that event.

Well that covers .3 wonder where the rest went

Re: Orlando World Street Coverage. - 11/01/09 01:33 AM

The problem with miller is that he thinks that he is above everybody, the good things that he has done he makes sure that everybody knows about it,as far as him screwing people over i have no clue about that,Never been that Stupid or Drunk to trust him or believe him.Theres alot of people on this website with a faster car than his,but you don,t see them bragging about it,As soon as miller figures out he has run out of rope!, he might change his ego headed ways, but he does have short people syndrome issues.......

Ding, if he would just have a big ol cup of stfu and let his work speak for it's self rather then running his mouth he might not draw so much attention.

Re: Orlando World Street Coverage. - 11/01/09 07:41 PM

The car has a new ignition box, new nitrous controller, diff cam and some other new stuff. He was supposed to be at Drag Week, was not. Supposed to be at Memphis True Street, was not, so showing up at Orlando with an untested combo, tossing in 400lbs and going on a banzai, two kit first pass, makes perfect sense to me. The final results of something, are generally a direct result of your planning and preparation, so who didnt see this one coming.

So I talked with Ediie and he said they were selling the car for 2500 and he is going to start running extreme import since he has had such luck with them.

Jimmy,my son Matt (whiskyrunner) called and said he meet you at Orlando this weekend while he was helping out on a 1968 twin turbo camero running heavy street. Dave Norris the cars driver qualified 9th running a 7.77. They won 1st round but couldn't make the call for second round. (bad msd car wouldn't start) That would really stink after running so good and the long drive from Pennsylvania.

Re: Orlando World Street Coverage. - 11/04/09 03:43 PM

When I first saw Eddies car in the pits, I joked to Tom that I think he's going to pop his motor trying to keep up with the other cars in Heavy Street. I watched Eddie's 1st qualify run Friday and was suprised that it made a good run. I took off before the second rounds. came back Sat and I saw his car next to the trailer with the "for sale" written on it.
